Nora manages solar and microgrid development projects and consultancy work through both private and public engagements.
Prior to joining UI, Nora managed multiple municipal energy efficiency and stormwater management programs in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and US Virgin Islands. Most notably she led the green roof and rain barrel incentive programs for Washington, DC which provided financial incentive for implementation of green infrastructure measures and incorporated education, installation, and workforce training for at-risk youth.Nora holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from the University of the South (Sewanee) and Masters in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia.When she isn’t working with Urban Ingenuity, Nora is parenting her two young girls, working on her farm or volunteering with the Town of Davidson, North Carolina where she is an active member of the Planning Board and Co-chair of the Sustainability Committee.
